I for one.. will not join or offer approval for the BSS entering another League until this squad can fly 'as a team' and each member that will participate has the proper combat discipline .. a working Team Speak... can show up on time .. and exhibit professionalism.

It does not.. and has never mattered to me if we win or not .. its about having fun. However .. I want to have fun with guys that know how to fly as a team. I'm not heading back up into the air with a squad that all flies solo .. can't communicate .. can't follow orders and directions.

Crashing on Take off .. how many times? This is not professional .. its amateur. I don't want a amateur in a league match on my shoulder.

So.. for those of you that can't follow instructions .. don't have Team Speak working correctly .. can't take off without crashing .. your welcome on the BSS.. but don't sign up for matches .. please. I would rather forfeit than be embarrassed.

For those of you that want to compete .. don't matter if you good or not .. but you can commit to the following list.. "I" want you and I would be proud to fly with you win or loose.

1_ Can be at matches you commit to

2_ Can be serious and dedicated to the match

3_ Have working TS

4_ Can show up 20 minutes prior to match

5_ Can communicate what is IMPORTANT during combat

6_ Can LEAD as well as FOLLOW

7_ Check Forums Frequently .. also check email every day

8_ Are on our TS every time they fly.

9_ Are within the rules every time they fly.

10_ Don't wise off to other pilots .. regardless of who is right or wrong (We have Joker to sort that out)

I can probably add to this list.. but you get the picture.

This squad has plenty of good pilots and good guys .. but when I go up to fly in a match.. I want wingman that know how to behave .. and fly as a team. My team mates are not worth a crap to me if they aren't there .. or can't fly like a team.

Sign up in this thread if you think YOU can fly with Tbar as a Team Mate

Tbar, I am not sure if I should sign up because I will be missing every other match unless it is set up as alternating Saturday and Sunday as match night which I doubt will happen because one pilot can make it. I have everything in order and its been in order for months. The only reason I'm reluctant is because of the schedule. Basically I will be missing half of the matches while attending the other half. It's up to you now to see if this is a major problem or just a small flaw. Being in matches is not big of a deal for me because either way I will still fly the BSS banner in teams and FFA as long as I am a part of BSS(forever! :P)

Reread the original post and NOTE:

1_ Can be at matches you commit to

If you commit .. be there. So if you can only be at a match once a month.. when you commit to that match.. be there. We know that things happen in RL .. and we are not jerks or unreasonable folks. Chit happens man .. to all of us. This type of situation is NOT what I'm addressing.

I think you are just fine Jonny.. no worries and you understand commitment

The next League is not even on the table as yet. What I want everyone to know is that I want a winning team .. and I personally am not going to sign up or commit to any League that I let my team mates down because *I* don't understand commitment and can't fly as a team. I am not going to fly with anyone else that does not understand that either.

I say again:
So.. for those of you that can't follow instructions .. don't have Team Speak working correctly .. can't take off without crashing .. your welcome on the BSS.. but don't sign up for matches .. please. I would rather forfeit than be embarrassed.

YES SIR,

im in, i will get my TS working or another PC in a couple days. As for matches, im the same with jonny, i can only come to half the matches so i will only sign up for them.

Another thing our pilots need to learn is if you see another BSS pilot in FFA go to TEAMS!!! Practice makes perfect. I know if i c Sheep ( Example ) i will go to teams with him and we'll wing up. If your in Teams and you c BSS pilots on another team go to them ( Unless said otherwise by joker or Tbar ) to wing up. The only exception is maybe if Joker wanted us to practice winging up against him. WORK AS A TEAM!!! SET UP PRACTICES, COMMUNICATE BETTER!!!

I know im not the prime example but we're all still learning Image , i've been with playing AA for just under a year now, so with practice i've become what i am today, and im still learning.

BSS_Bryz

P.S Practice things lke - Winging up ( stay on your team mates six close as you can and watch his six, tell him if some 1 is diving, stick with him in the fight, he engages, so do u )

communication ( Visualizations, alt of enemy and closest locks. Also if your engaging the enemy and you need help although your wingman should stick with you )

of course, General flying - just hav fun flying ImageImage

another note, IF YOUR WINGMAN DIES, FIND YOUR CLOSEST FRIENDLY AND WING UP WITH HIM. learn these well and you have achieved something Image

Tbar,

Great Post! I understand you completely. I am much of a loner at times because thats the way I learned how to play.

I still have problems seeing things on the map and know who to get out of trouble. Sometime I go the wrong way but end up in the right place anyway. but usually its a couple of seconds too late. I flame the enemy, but he's following my team mate to the ground who's also in a ball of fire.

Jonny,

We all have real life problems, It's understandable. What I have a problem with and what Tbar was stating is to the pilots who sign up for a match and then don't bother to show up or when they do get there they leave with out any notice. That makes it hard to come up with game plans and leaves us hanging. If you sign up for a match, BE THERE, and BE READY TO PLAY THE WHOLE MATCH. A time will come when we may only need you for half a match because we have so many guys show up and we want to try to let everyone fly.

BryZ,

What happened to you was not your fault. You have a visitor come to your home and he played a practical joke and ended up screwing up your PC. Now you can't get much to work anymore. I understand that completely. I'm still looking for solutions to get your sound card working again. It seems like pretty much everything is back to normal except for that. I think I sent you some drivers, but I'm not sure if they worked or not.

If you do get a new PC please get one with XP instead of Vista. So many people have a hard time getting AA to work on a Vista system. (One of the reasons I have not tried putting AA on my laptop.)

I agree with Tbar. It's time we weed out the non-hackers, lets get this team together and fly as a team. We definitely need to fly in pairs. One thing that seemed to be working good was in practice last weekend was flying Hi-Lo One Pilot high for cover and wingman low. IF the enemy is up at altitude with the high pilot drag him down past the lo wingman. If not not much higher than your low wingman he can up and hit the enemy from the underside. IF the enemy is at a low position with your low wingman, the high guy can watch and attack from high if needed, but use caution if other enemy are in the area.
