O..k... for some reason I posted this B4 and it is gone, so I will RE_post it again!
Mothers Day is on May 11 and those of you in 2 squad have a match that day!
Bss FD 2008-05-11 14.30
Thorn TS 2008-05-11 14.30
German_E RB 2008-05-11 16.30
Warships Tkfm 2008-05-11 16.30
Usha Tigers 2008-05-11 16.30
Not sure if anyone will be making the match that day or not? Most all of our matches are in the middle of the day. All I know is that Wiz is now saying that all matches must be final by May 18th.

Who is the Squad Leader at TS?
When we look these schedules over .. we take every date and go to calendar and look and see if there are any conflicts. So way,way... way in advance we can tell the League Manager or Master of potential conflicts and/or request for a reschedule.
One could say that the League Manager/Master should do this BEFORE the schedule is release. One could also say that any League Manager/Master can't know the holidays and personal days of every member of the AA Community as a whole. Some Dates such as Christmass are well known .. other days such as the
International We Love Tbar Day are not observed by all and would not make a difference if a match was scheduled or not.
What is important? What is important is that each individual do what they must do. For some .. it may be go to Mom's all day and they can't fly the match. The world will not come to and end .. the League will go on.. for others it is a long distance call and they will fly with the squad.
Almost any calendar in the USA will tell you May 11 is Mothers day .. way back .. way back when our 2 Squad Schedules was presented..........
Love ya Fury .. your point has been made. Its Mothers Day... and its also a squad match day that some members just won't be able to make. There are plenty of pilots on TS .. I'm sure you guys will do just fine
BSS can't get enough pilots for any day ... so any of you pilots out there that want some action.. come join the BSS!!

Squad Leader, we'll never tell, lmao.......
Insite on projected important dates pertaining to the schedule is well worth mentioning as you have, BUT,
As per the 2 Squad guidelines, for whatever reason, if within a weeks request for a rescedule is requested and both C/O's agree and the blessing of the LM is givin then the match can be rescheduled, correct me if I'm wrong.
In this case Fury brought forth the fact that TS_Squadron knows that 4 to 5 pilots would not be able to make this match with TKFM and a request was submitted and the request was granted.
TKFM, as the honorable Squad they are, wants TS_Squadron to field as many pilots for this match as possible, as well as themselves,
so there would not be a one sided or easy win for either Squad.
How do I know this? I have been asked by our Squad Leaders who are out of town right now to arrange with Gelp a reschedule, which I had, within the guidelines and was accepted by both Squads with the LM's blessing, helps both Squads gather there pilots for this most important match as TKFM agrees. Need I say anymore, there still might be a few pilots from both Squads that might not be able to attend this most important rescheduled match that ultimatly will decide the 2 Squad Champion.
I hope this clarifies TS_Squadron's position on the rescheduling and does take in account the content of your post pertaining to the most obvious important Holidays to all countries and to why some Squads may request a rescheduling within the guidelines that are set for that event or any future event.
Salute
