The long awaited LTS Tournament will begin on Saturday April 5, 2008. This tournament will be for the US squads only and is the final stage of testing for the eventual LTS League. USAAC would like to thank all squads for their participation and hope everyone will enjoy the competition.

That doesnt sit to well with me at the moment. Is this something new or was this in the plans of LTS and I just missed that portion of it these past few months? In any event Im not sure that I like that Idea. Of course as always my opinions are subject to change as discussion progresses.

First off the LTS is a league just like 2 squad, 4 squad, etc... Teams that will be flying will be comprised of current squad memebers only.

This is a league and will be run as a league, I am not sure where this information came from but it is not correct. In the early stages of testing when squads did not have enough players we allowed this but not in the LEAGUE format.

If anyone has questions please let me know.

The USCAA would like to thank all squads for their participation yet are limiting the Tournament to US squads only? Wow, I am not sure that any event run by the UK or GE or even KAA ever prevented any squad from having the option to join and play.

We are low in numbers anyway and I am sure there may not be any squads outside of the US that would want to fly on a saturday night around midnight. Heck, I am not sure how many US guys want to cut their spring/summer late Saturday afternoon's to come inside and fly.....but the point is that this is showing discrimination and not a good feeling towards all who fly this game.

We ought to be trying to unite and not distance one nation from another.

Let me try and clear this up before it turns into something it is not. First this is the FINAL TEST of the LTS League before we introduce it to all communities. We are not discriminating anyone, this is just a test to see if the fixtures work and everything goes smoothly.

I did not post it in the fourms to avoid just this very thing. I have invited all the UK and GE squad COs to come and watch so they could see how it was going to be run. I have tried to include everyone but like I said this is the last stage of testing before we open it to ALL COMMUNITIES.

Please do not take this wrong Vipor. All are welcome when we get this up and running for I too love this game and want everyone to have fun.

All we have to do is READ... and comprehend (no offense intended)

ALL US Squad leaders .. know this is a test.. a 4 week test. They have been present for every BoD.. or their representatives have been. Any confusion is the fault of the Reps.

Tbar the information I was talking about not knowing where it came from is as follows:

I know that this is only a test run of the league but I want to run it just like the rules state. So teams are comprised of squad members only. If you or anyone have a problem with this then let me know, for this is how the league will be run.
