What a joke, this started out not being able to see the name, so we changed our names to Roman numeral tags like TS_XL111 and TS_XXXIX and so on, being inside the 10 spaces needed to see the names while flying and now we can't use those cuz there to close in letters? what a joke! whats next? you have to fly upside if you lose a match and right side up when you win? This is war and everyone wants to win, lets not try to candy coat this BS!!! this isnt just a game, every squad wants to come out on top, people don't show up to a match to lose or come just cuz they didn't have anything to do that night, THEY COME TO WIN!!!!!!!! PERIOD!!!!! this isnt some tea party like some say in the uk forums, (thats funny). In real war there were no tags, no distant tags, mabey we shouldn't fly with tags at all? That way you can't pick out who's the better pilot and who's not!!!? "Play the game in the spirit it was intended to be played". ARE YOU KIDDING ME? That has been out the window for years and you know it! I saw a pilot write this (another joke) Therefore squads should, in the interests of fair play, use tags like

[sQUAD]Joe

why is this "FAIR PLAY"? whats unfair? I think its unfair you know who I am while being chased, I don't what you to know who I am. I think it's unfair for you to know who the better pilots are in a match and who the weak ones are. Unfair and being fair need to be looked at here a bit closer. I think being inside the 10 numbers so you can see the entire pilots name is fair at this time but then telling me its unfair that we are useing Roman numerals? WHAT A JOKE!!!!!!!! Can't wait to see whats next What other BS you people with power can come up with. Like I said below:

This topic was in the Gen Discussion Room (Finas Fogs). The topic is "league" related so I have moved into this area. There is another topic (Fao TS) that may have more current information concerning 'tags'

Sorry for any confusion. The forums are slowly being re-organized.

It may be war for you Fury, but for others it is still a game.. if you want to play it as war, then the next time you get shot down, shurrup , play dead and give us all some peace

USHA will be flying our real USHA tags that we have used for many years.

EXAMPLE USHA_Kid, USHA_Redbaron etc.

We will no longer use tags to confuse the enemy.We tried it because other squads were doing it and I didn't like it.Not only did it confuse the enemy,it confused the heck out of me and the other pilots.

I had trouble identifying my own guys.

So we will always fly the real USHA tags from hence forth.

I don't care if my better pilots get targeted.We will fly together,kill together and die together.

For Myself and the BSS, We chose to USE tail number tags after the first few matches we played in the last 2 squad matches. We saw a few of the other team doing this so we followed along. With our squad being one of the newer ones on the block it really didn't matter because we got our butts kicked anyway.

The pluses and the minuses of the argument for us goes both ways.

The plus - our better pilots were not targeted as much.

The minus - We had a hard time trying to identify who everyone on our own squad was.

Either way, it doesn't make much difference to us. We can get to know our own pilots and before each match I always check the other squad rosters and make a print out on who they are too.

When a pilot calls out a number, I tell them who they are.

Its just a lot more work for me to help my guys be a little more successful.

Play dead and give you peace? you can shurrup and stick it up where the sun don't shine, put your money where your flying skills are NEMO and we will meet you in the air
