These are some tips that will help you stay alive and maybe even kill a TS member(it isnt easy).

1. ALWAYS watch your radar (and you opponent if your in a turn fight.)

2. NEVER fly alone! ( always have one or more wing men.)

3. Watch you map and Check your locks for the alt and position of an enemy.

4. If possible, GET ABOVE THEM. (their weakness.)

5. B&Z!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

6. Fly where your plane flies best, (alt.)

7. And finally, PIN THEM if you have the chance, (but never go there by yourself.)

8. USE TEAM SPEAK!! warn your m8s of an enemy, call for help (give position and alt), and call a target!

These are very important.

Use em and hopefully we will all get a kill(or two). That would show great improvement.

PS. After reviewing this post i realizer these tips can be used pretty much against ne squad :)

Ive noticed that the lat is one weakness of us to. In squad (practices) ive noticed that the one who claims the high ground is probally the winner, or maybe not the winner but has the higher possiblity of them shooten. The last practiced match we had they seemed to use all of those.

BUT with practice i think we can do it. =) Image

Also while pinning them DO NOT drop to 2000-3000 feet of altitude. This is way to low. A TS pilot who is the right position while ur at this alt will be able to climb up at knip you enough so that you will either go to base or become easy prey. Remember, the cannons on LA7 have a maximum range of about 2200 feet. All it will take is maybe 2-3 second climb and you will be in range and TS usually doesnt miss. Also for the K4. K4 can reach about 4,000 feet of altitude on only about 250 mph. This speed is very easy to maintain in the AA and so they will also be able to catch you.

Top Gun some of these seem to be tips for only Bf-109K4 and G6.(points 4, 5) When you fly Spitfires try pulling them into a turn fight with you and your wingman. One way to do this is something me and JoKeR tried a few months ago:

1) You and your wingman must fly abreast(parallel to each other) with about 2000-4000 seperation.

2) Notice when some one comes in for a pass on you.

3) When you determine he is behind and slightly above(I'm not sure how well it will work if he is directly above) wait till he is about 5000 feet away.

4) This is where you and your wingman engage. You must turn towards each other(guy on left turns right and guy on right turns left) and head back in the bandits direction. You should now both be coming at him head-to-head.

5) Now the bandit must make a choice in firing at one of you. The guy who is chosen must either attempt to evade OR fire back.

6) The other wingman will notice that now the bandit is either running away so now you turn to shoot him before he gets out of range, or you see the bandit turning away from you on the side to take out your wingman. This should make for an easy shot.

I made it more complicated than it needs to be. Maybe in today's practice we can try it out and you'll see how simple it is. Me and JoKeR actually did it on the first try and got the kill with minimal damage done to us.(BTW we were using Yaks so maybe if we use all SU again we can have 2 yaks pair up and turn-fight together using tactics like these)

Here's the image from the ACMM that was put in the locker a while back. I dont know if its still there but try looking. This should clear up what i said(except here they turn away from each other not towards.)
