Tides of War

Top over at the GE Community has a new tool that will be offered up sometime in the very near future. This tool, once installed .. will allow you to simply double click a 'film' in your film directory where you will be able to start viewing immediately rather then starting up AAstart.exe and all that..

I have tested the program/routine .. and it works great

USAAC will post some undocumented commands for film viewing also. This is a great learning for noobs .. and experienced pilots as well. Ref's and Sysop's might like this tool also

Film Commands:

Note that some of the commands might actually be described incorrectly, don't hesitate to reply with corrections and any further undocumented commands you are aware of.

Page up - fast forward

Page down - fast backwards

end - go to end of film

Home - Rewind to start

<--- Back Arrow or Left arrow - reverse film fiew

----> Forward or Right arrow - Play film forward (normal view)

Up arrow pause and then forward frame by frame

Down arrow pause then back frame by frame

F6 Activate Camera ( use view numeric keys of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 - these move the camera) Note that in F6 you can use the mouse.

TAB will move you from aircraft to aircraft and from there you can use F3, etc..

I was chatting with Top today on ToW Jabber .. he will have a release ready in a couple of days from now
