My Formal Resignation From The BSS
Posted: Sat Dec 08, 2007 4:13 am
To My C/O Tbar and My X/O JoKer and to The Pilots of the Black Sheep Squadron;
Gentlemen: It is with the utmost regret that now comes the time, When I must part
from the BSS for the good of the Squadron and all members there in. Before I
Stipulate my reasons for leaving, I wanted each and every one of you to know
that I enjoyed being a part of a good team (Family in General), I will miss especially
those in the Squadron, That I was so generously given the privilege to know and
talk to., And for the other pilots that I never had the opportunity to get to know and
they to know me, I wish them all to have fun and enjoy them selves and come together
as one. You are a fine Squadron, and in no doubt, that one day, All Squadrons will
recognize that, and they too will give you that Honor and Respect, that all of you are
working hard for as rookies. Now then, let it be known that my resignation is of my
own choice and not caused by any one within this Squadron., When I joined up with
this Squadron, It was the closest thing to me. That reminded me of the U.S. States
Marine Corps, and I so much wanted to do my best to make it one of the best, But
I just went about it the wrong way, My C/O Tbar who I admire and respect, has often
given me good advice saying, "the next time before you decide to just up and do
something on the spur of the moment, Take a while and think it over!" Yes That was
very good advice, but, I'm impulsive, and I just seem to rush in to things head on
first, instead of using common sense to weigh the consequences in doing so.
Now then, The reasons I feel it best to resign for the best interest of the BSS;
Well I was going to stipulate the reasons, but, maybe it be better left alone, and let
this old tired horse go out to pasture for a rest, I sincerely appologize and regret if
I at any time brought shame on the BSS and any embarrassment I may have
caused to any pilot and or th whole Squadron in General., In my finale say to all
of you, I want you all to know and to reassure, I have none and never will have any
ill feelings against the Squadron or it's pilots and officers of the BSS, I will never
divulge any of BSS's Private matters including any passwords, However, for my
ease of mind, I suggest a new passwords change, Not that I would ever give it out,
but, for the security of the Squadron supersedes me! I do not know at this very
moment what I will do from here on, I like the game and I have had a lot of fun
playing this game, more so then my favorite and avid game of chess! If you see me
in the arena FFA, Do not hesitate to shoot me down, I expect you too, and you should
cause from now on I will be just another pilot out there, But Gentlemen, If I do not
return fire, let it go, do not have sympathy on me , I mean that!, But I'm not Lippsa,
I will never fire upon any of you, and God as my witness, If I see one of you being
attacked, Yes, I will try my best to intercept or get between the enemy that is engaging
you! Lastly, I only ask one thing form the BSS, If my name shall be submitted on the
"Wall of Shame" or the "Hall of Shame", I only plead that my real name be put on it
William Jerry Cline, Not Cutter, Cutter was my friend in Viet Nam, He was a damn good
Sniper, I was his spotter on my first tour in Nam, He was very short time to go home,
but, on a Special Op on Hill 881 near Phu Bai, Cutter was KIA, Onlyt the admin of BSS
knew this, for my reason as to why I chose Cutter, But, in the alternative, if Cutter
must be placed upon that wall, Then gentlemen add my real name right along beside it!
I will continue to fly as tag "Cutter", There are a few fences to be mend, and when they
are mend to the better, Than I can truly say I brought honor to my buddy's name!
I William J Cline tag-BSS_ Cutter, admin Registration name-Shotgun, do here by
resign effectively this day 7th, of December 2007 from the Black Sheep Squadron,
and this resignation is of my own free will and good of the BSS. Respectfully Submitted
and Thank you, Cutter, Shotgun / William J Cline
