Tides of War

Ok. I set up the ToW practice room at 7.45 UK time, logged onto TS and waited for Euro pilots to turn up and practice. Got bored of waiting, flew in teams for a while and had a bit of fun. Finally resigned myself to the fact that no one was coming, poured myself a drink and went and watched the telly.

Now I know that the arranged practice was a bit last minute, but i've recieved no feedback from Euro pilots (apart from Emrys i think) as to whether anyone is actually interested in meeting up and practising as a euro wing during the week. So come on. Do you want this or not. When do you want to do it etc. Let me know. COMMUNICATE!! No excuses for not knowing about the next one. Ive emailled the whole squad about this practice time. If i hear/read nothing I'll arrange again for next week 04/07/07 8pm. Lets show some support for this and get it established in the weekly shedule.

Also if any Euro pilots are around on friday evenings (or US for that matter) we could enter the fun friday event for some practice and laughs.

Sorry to hear that Zarn .. really disappointing to me ...

Don't forget however .. we still all practice as a 'team' on Sundays.

I'm sorry that no one showed up for practice last night. I did talk to Emrsy briefly last night while flying LTS. He eveidently had his days mixed up. He apoligzed for the mistake. It was late notice, but do not let that discourage you.

I will make a point of advertising the Euro Practice when I send out the US practice notification. If you want to follow up my e-mails feel free. What ever we do we need to get everyone up and practing in one form or another.

I will do what I can to help. If you need anything or need any help please be sure to contact me. At this point I'll do just about anything to get the guys up and flying. If you know how to get a hold of Saj or any of our other Euro pilots outside of public e-mails or forum posts, you may want to try that. IF I had a phone call list. I'd give our guys a call to see whats up! Maybe we should try and make that part of the enlistment process.

no probs m8. I'm not discouraged at all, just keen to get something going over here. Any help in publicising the euro training spot is most welcome. I'm more concerned that no one appears to be checking out the forums regularly or giving their opinions.
