Tides of War

I just found these forums from a google search, and I want to know a few things...

1st, as i look back in the forum history I see hopes of MP go up and down. Whatever happend to all this?, and what is all this?:

2nd, In the Alliance suface campaign, theres a mission where you have a Torp boat VS 4 subs, but its only physically possible to sink 3, and I tell all my other 3 boats to attack a single target, and the seem to ignore if even though it says im the leader...(used the large tactical "broadcast")

and finally Ive never seen any land in this game...

btw: I have the gold version if that makes any difference.

EDIT: whats with the chapter1 and chapter2 stuff?

1: Multiplayer was the goal behind the entire concept, now that TesseractionGames (from what it seems) has ceased to work on it, it wont happen, as for the two topics, they were from when there were still a chance that it would have happened.

2: All the missions are winable, some harder than other, Im sure there are some hints to be found about this particular mission in the briefing rooms, if not feel free to start a new topic there.

3: Land masses are not a part of the single player game, it was supposed to be available in multiplayer, but as said before, multiplayer has been dropped.

4: Chapter 1 is what you have now, Chapter 2 was supposed to be the sequel, but as with multiplayer, TAG does not work on it any more.

ya, it is all kind of sad there was such excitment about this game. There used to be 4 or 5 posts here aday but now know one comes here very often anymore. i think just about everyone has finally gave up on the hope of a multiplayer but i sure wish there could have been one.

There is still work on MP.. but will it ever hit the streets in our time? That is the question.
