I'm probably an A**hole for saying this, but, if there is no multiplayer for enigma, does that not mean I should get my money back? As it was advertised with the game and came with a seperate cd-key for multiplayer. SP was alright, but as I'm sure with most people they were wanting the MP.

So, ultimatly, whats the deal with this? Will Enigma buyers get a future TAG game for free? Or get our money back? Or be left high and dry?

To answer your second question: High and Dry. Tag is out of the game dev. business and the President of the Company that did all the interaction here resigned.

Commentary:

Since then that x-president started another company and is now trying to dev and market a product called DeepSix, another naval warfare game that is supposed to be primarily multi-play out of the box .. ie no single play at all. (See DeepSix and Deep Blue Sea this board under "by Sea" section)

Supposedly, there are 'third parties' that might pick up ERT for Multiplay development, but I rather doubt that they would take responsibility for anything that TAG promised.. and would not give you a free pass.

Tides keeps these support boards here for the players of Enigma, so they have some reference material and so the players, YOU, have a sounding board.

Sorry, but I think you won't get satisfaction, you would have to contact TAG for a direct, specific answer. Let us know what they say

Of course you can not get your money back skipper, you've paid for the single player game, you didnt pay for multi player, the extra key gave you 30 days free multiplayer when it is done, now that it 's doesn't appear to happen, you have to settle with what you've purchased. I tell you this, if TAG ever gets ERT:MP out I am pretty sure your 30 days ticket (key) will still be valid.

Yes we all wanted ERT:MP, but I don't see how you can feel that you paid for something you didn't get. Again, you paid for the SP not MP.

Cheer up skipper, there is always lots of playable hours in ERT:SP, I know it's not the same, but if you wan't naval MP you have to look in a different direction, Deep6 & Danger of the Deep is under development, there may be other in progress as well.
