I think this topic line of HotShots is a good idea and needs more discussion.
1) I think if you use the ToW_ tag, you need to disclose to the squad as a whole , here in a private area who that tag is being used by. "used by" is the main name one joined ToW:BSS with.
2) I think if the name does not have a ToW tag .. then its should not be required that the name be disclossed to the squad .. but its a good idea to do so. I understand sometimes folks just like to 'play their little games" and I think as an individual if this is what they want to do .. ok with me
3) I think for certain functions such has helping other members or even our own where you would normaly use some type of 'target' tag that we should all use our pilot number and a consistant tag format:
Example:
ToW_Target 01
ToW_Trainer 01
ToW_Helper 01
In these examples if you look at our pilot roster on the 'web site' you see we all have a 'number'. That number is designed to stick with us and be our aircraft number. Aircraft number has a future use, and the number also indicates the order of members join up. It's really not necessary that other folks know who 01 is, but its good for us to know
01 = Tbar
04 = Saj
07 = Etoile
14 = Tex
... and so forth, etc ... ..
4) I also think that when a person declares a second tag name here in private .. that WE should not ID that person or refer to that person with their main ID tag. The reason they have a second TAG name is probably to make 'peace' or escape a bad rep, too get a fresh start, to avoid being a target with someone they p----- off, etc and so forth. The reason is not as important as keeping it private. If the pilot owner wants to give out his main ID name .. that is his business. WE as a Squad should understand its private .. and respect the new tag. This won't be easy to do because we get used to callhing someone "hotshot" or "Hot" .. so try your best

well on that note i will be creatin the tag ToW_06 i think thats me 
will check before i make it, my pittbull tag is disclosed on TAA however my new pilot number tag is not going to be, once i have gain the new planes i will use this tag soley for the purpose of matches. if eventually we all did that i think while people work out who's who which nodoubt the better pilots will short term it will help us by meaning the less able pilots wont get targeted for the easy kills so often.

There are several Squads that have tried the "number" approach .. only to find out that the pilots "fly style", "typing style", etc .. end up disclosing the real owner of the Tag anyway .. !!
so give it a try .. but keep your typing shut
