Tides of War

I was just wondering about this problem with not getting the Stonewall Jackson when the briefing for mission 8 says that I have taken command of DD but in the mission itself I still have DE Carter Bull.

I did a complete re-install of version 2.1.3 (NorthAmerican) and then patched it to gold edition. Wiped out my old profile before re-installing and started new. Am I missing anything or do I have to make a minimum rank to get the DD. So far I have made it to LT Commander. What is the basic requirement?

That's a known bug in the game. You should get the new ship in one of the next missions ofter it.

Finiished Mission 9 and did fairly well. got promoted to Commander and then received the DD Stonewall Jackson. I like the fire power. Its awesome. Thanks for the reply. I guess it takes a little patience.

They were reluctant to give you the ship cause I was prowling the waters in my sub....no sence wasting a new ship whilst I'm sitting at your front door.

They waited till I moved off.

Ahhhhh, I was wondering who that was limping off into the sunset. I don't like to shoot people in the stern, (ahhhh that sounded a little bad) ,so I let you go on your merry way. Next time you can expect a shell down the old scope.
