Tides of War

I have played two patrols and have not completed them (surface). My ship starts out with about 1/2 of the fuel already gone and about 5 to 8 min into the patrol, I run out and none of the action has even started yet. Whats up with that?

Also, when just running a patrol (the one where I have to protect the Tigress while she boards a frieghter), I have 3 other ships with me (allies). How do I direct them to protect the Tigress and/or attack incomming enemy ships/subs?

All campaign missions put you in the action within a minute.

Tactical patrols may take a few more minutes.

Custom patrols you probably havent engaged in yet.

Can you be more specific on your version, whether it is USA or Europe, and the name of the patrol and type of ship you are choosing etc etc..

Assuming you have a good clean install, gold version or gold patched properly.. this shouldnt be difficult to figure out.

1: (assuming you are on a random patrol here)

Kill your engines and open the big tac window and zoom out to x16

Are there any green dots (vessels)

If yes click'em to find a tanker or oiler, when found click on ressuply

If no are there any blue?

if yes drag a square over them all and click resupp. (with some luck one of them is an allied resupp. ship.

if no, restart the patrol.

2: you can only give orders to allies with less rank than yourself.

3: your welcome, and welcome aboard.
