Tides of War

G'day all,

I've just purchased Enigma - Tides of War Gold Edition...and i have some problems with it. Well firstly i've installed the game and the voice pack that came with it but the microphone doesn't work? Do i need any add-on to make it work or is it my Logitech Net Headset or the game?

Secondly, more importantly...i'm playin a campaign (surface) and in mission 3 (i think?) my boat get's jumped by a half dozen PT boats...and after a savage bashing (on both sides) they flee the scene at twice my speed...once their off radar why doesn't the mission end there?? Is it possible to speed up time till it ends? or was i supposed to miraculously chase the gunboats down?? do i hit a button to end this mission there?? I hit esc and leave the mission but it tells me that i've surrenedered? despite my enemy disappearing quick smart??

Any Ideas? Advice? Tips? for New Personnel?

I've noticed the forum's archives are quite informative with many chains of messages to read. I know it's not wise to create these post's without first searching for answers through the forum, but its just i can't seem to find where the general help section is? I did manage to find a section on microphones but as far as battle situation's go, my luck ran out? does have an answer to my question in the top of this chain? or have a link to some more information? I REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR ASSISTANCE.

When you go into the game look under "Preference" (I think that's it) there should be in the lower right corner an area to test your mic on SAPI, it will let you know if your mic is working or not.

Click on the mic, say "IT'S A DIFFERENT WORLD" if the mic works it will tell you the test was sucessful, if it dosen't work it will tell that also.

Thanks for all your help. I have got the microphone working! Works fairly well. I haven't figured some other gaming points out just yet but i have found the forum topics to look under. Thanks again.
