Hi all, I am new to this so please bare with me.
When you finish a sub mission it says return to port (yes/no)
What I would like to know is there any way that I can sail my sub back
and arrive at port .

Unlike SH2, it's not a requirement to physically reenter port. The return to port option is the "mission complete wanna bug out?" question.
In later missions you can return to port having completed all the objectives, or, stay on and risk further engagements for the tonnage.

It's not a requirement nor is it physically possible... yet. Enigma currently has no ports and no land to take heed to when navigating anyways. The upcoming multiplayer will fill in this gap, and perhaps a 1P patch will be released adding land.

We are now debating releasing an Add-On to chapter One that includes Lan/Player hosted multiplayer

That'd be really great, but if its between releasing that, and waiting for the big MP version, I'd choose to wait. Sounds good mind
