International Gold & Cd-key

I just got the international gold version for Enigma: Rising tide, and am trying to register first at warfleet. Only it asks for a cd-key, which I just simply cannot find on the box. In the box were the CD, and a quick start manual, nothing else. Neither on the back of the box or in the manual there are any kind of signs for a cd-key.

What about inside or on the back of the CD case?

There is no key for the Int. Gold.

Simply type "Gold Ed." in the editbox instead of the CDKey.

Tried the big long QQCCLR-863VZM-XA42CH-AYY44D cd-key in my Gold International. Didn't work. Tried "Gold Ed." didn't work. Tried about 4 different variations of "Gold Ed." none of them worked. Tried nothing. Didn't work. Installed No-CD crack. Worked, but kept getting pallet error. Removed No-CD crack, tried it again, back to beginning. re-installed game. Same thing. This thing is really pissing me off...

Edit: I got no pieces of paper in my box save the "register now and win free stuff" paper. Shook crap out of chintzy little jewel case manual; no paper. No numbers on jewel case (which is clear), no numbers on back of said chintzy manual.

Apologies for the chintzy package for the GOLD - that was an unauthorized move by the publisher - we did not agree to it.

As for the cd-key: The gold edition doesn't require one. If you are having problems installing then follow standard procedures for game installation: Turn off your anti-virus and anti-spyware systems, turn off your CDRom burner software, turn off your registry protection software, install from a CD or DVD drive, don't try to install from anything else - it won't work.

If you are really having trouble after that, then send a DXDiag report to mailto:support@warfleet.net , our team will help you.

hmm... well as long as it was the publisher's fault... :P oh well. Now the problem is that the protection software refuses to even recognize the disk. sometimes it'll keep searching, then randomly go to the game. Other times, I'll sit there and keep trying... no luck. heh heh... and then on the times I *do* get in, I die and die and die and die hahahah... man, that game's hard!

Sounds like you might need to replace the cdrom or update the drivers for it. Usually if it's having trouble reading (and the disk is pristine) it's related to the drive itself.

BTW: Thanks for your service.

Actually mine is not even recognizing the disk as a licensed disk either, then its back to the orignal problem of no cd-key, although you say it doesnt need it, it still asks for it
