How responsive is voice control ie. do you have to shout or repeat yourself alot?

If you shout, it won't recognize it. You have to learn to quietly and calmly say "hard to port" "ahead flank" as the torpedoes bear down at point blank range.

Yeah, you dont know what youre missing out on if you havent used a mike... once you try you will never stop using it

oh yeah, voice control makes the game MUCH more surviveable. Also, with the Gold patch, they talk back to you.
Example: in spectator mode, your keyboard doesn't work, but voice does. as a surface ship, when you hear the torpedo alert, glance to see what direction it's coming from, issue your first evasive command, then go to spectator and use the zoomed out view to avoid the incoming fish by giving voice commands.
