Is It Because I'm A Southerner?

Hi all,
I have a bit of a problem with the voice order "ENGAGE TARGET". When ever I say that, I get: "858 is not a correct heading, please repeat" or something similar.
All other voice commands work very well.
What can I do?

Not heard of that one before. Perhaps a run through the voice training programme again will help? - it may be interpreting your voice signal wrong because of accent/dialect.

yeah, I did 3 of the training things. I'm from Tennessee too...

Maybe there is other sound in the room your mic is picking up .

maybe, but all the other voice commands work very well. This is strange

I've found the voice commands work better if your mic volume is turned down (not off). Try changing the volume settings.

Yep the best thing is to mute your mike in Windows's SoundMixer (Volume Control)

Aye mute the feedback =)
I've noticed that if the record (input) volume is too loud commands will not work. Try turning mic boost off if you havn't already.
