Tides of War

Not sure if this is news here or not, but details of the forthcoming Gold Edition, out on Nov 5th in the UK, have been released at many online game shops. At Gameplay UK you can read the following:

Gameplay UK - Enigma Gold Edition

Ive seen screenshots of wreckage prior to Nov 2004 patch.. but I havent seen any wreckage pre-patch myself..

Does this mean pieces of wreckage is going to be more common?

What does it mean "pluck salvage from the enemy wreckage".. either now we get some sort of indicator that we have found something valuable or is this just an overly dramatized descriptor?

Are there any screenshots of the "new" particle and wake effects? Please post some - afterall - we are only a few days away from Nov...

There are already three kinds of patrols, so the "fourth" kind is the new random missions? Will they be found in the list under patrols and by the name "Random Missions"? Or will there be a few new missions added to one of the three existing lists? How many?

What kind of new commands will there be? Should we have a checklist in the event any others were inadvertenly left out of the F3 help screens?

More info would be appreciated by existing owners, and more importantly, persons contemplating purchasing can see for themselves how much is now offered with all patches combined after a year since public release.. PR-Marketing guys get the news out! (*sound of whip cracking*)

Remember these descriptions are for changes since the FIRST Enigma release. Some earlier patches - especially the USA patch included the Battlecruiser Random missions.

Mainly its improved gfx/sfx minor bug fixes and a redesigned menu.

I would think that either you can just register again, maybe they should add a check box on the registration form "Have SP and SP Gold".

Or maybe the 30 days online doesnt count for E:RT Gold, so registration is only so they have an idea of how many that has the game... or perhaps they are collecting email addresses and sells them to the highest bids *laughs hysterically loud* LOL

Keys were not included with the GOLD due to some contractual challenges. We'll work something out for that. As long as you are registered, you are...golden.

So we have to buy this???

I`m sorry for sounding stupif, but for those of us with Enigma, is there patch available????

You only need to buy it if you want the full soundtrack, everything else will be available as a patch for existing users in November.
