Players Ships Names In Mp

I don't know if this question have been made before but...
Is it possible to players to name their ships? I mean i would love to have the word "EFILE" on my vessel...
Anyway, now, I was wondering, how will I recognise my fellow vessels in MP game? I mean, imagine I am part of a 5 submarive wolf pack, how will i know who is who? Can I use binoculars to scan the boats name?
