in patrolmission c2 you have to dock on a supply sub, after that you will have fun with some planes.

when you finish the resupplying 3 korvetts and two destroyer arrive.

I m a newby and for better understanding, do I have to sink all vessels in this mission?

had fun with their depth charges for over 45 min, but then I ran out of air and batterypower.

So if I have to sink all vessels what would be the best tactic, in the beginning I can sink one or two ships, but then the rest of the destroyers and korvetts, give me no change to come up to periscope depth anymore.

If I m at 50 meters a new attack round will start.

So what will be the trick.

Another question, is there a user guide for all patrols or campagne somewhere here in the net?

Always sink everything, if it's enemy, shoot first, ask questions later. Take no prisoners, because taking prisoners is not yet modeled into the game

Some things to think about:

Do you use a combination of voice control , and keyboard, mouse controls?

Did you run out of torpedoes? You can fire torpedoes from different depths, not just periscope depth.

ok sitting at 30 m, can listen to the vessel because of the radar/sonarscreen, so i know where they basicly are, but how can aim them without using the periscope, just stear to the target and shoot on the sonar guess?

I usually sit about 40m or so, and let the target come at me head on. Watch the triangle on the sonar, when it gets close enough, I fire four torps at it, and usually, he doesn't have much time to react, and gets clobbered.

You can also turn and run from them, but keep your stern pointed directly at them, and as they get close, fire four stern torps at them. You have less chance of the DC's getting you this way.

wanna say thank you to us monterey and captain maxim, yeah you are right, sitting at 40 meters and working with the sonar, this mission is fun, nail all vessels, they are history, will carry on with my patrols, but no doubt next questions will come soon
