Alt+tab

On my old system (Win2K pro, GeForce 4 Ti4200 128MB) I could happily alt+tab out of the game - very handy for noting bugs etc.

On my new system (XP home, ATI Radeon (200 128MB) I can alt+tab out of main menu, but not from within a mission. Even ctrl+alt+del doesn't cut it. Most annoying. Not sure if its the OS our the gfx card thats at issue.

Anyone else had any similar issues/know any solutions?

I have problems with that too. I have Win XP Pro OS and a Nvidia 5200 card 1 Gig ram and when I alt+tab the Game exits but the mouse sticks to the top left corner so you can't do anything short of keyboard commands >;(

Be sure you aren't in spectator (3rd person) mode when you alt+tab, that will fix the sticky mouse problem. As for the other, not sure yet...

Thats easy to fix... when it happens tab back to the game and press space once then tab out again and you mouse is fixed.

When the mouse docks you can still use your keyboard to navigate your desktop/startmenu. just use ctrl+esc to open the startmenu, use ctrl+tab to activate the quicklanuch menu :)

On Bux's issue, it must be ATi or user related. its not XP and not the game, it kinda only leaves 2 options

All the other XP users here seem to be XP pro, not Home. TAG do much of their testing we ATI I believe, cos ATI have been kind to them.

Not 100% correct. :P

It happens when 'free-mode-move' is enabled.

eg. if you stand on the bridge and press space once.

It happens if you fire a torpedo with space-key

it simply happens when space is pressed an un-equal number of times

tab back into your paused game and press space and tab back out. :)
