Please, when will the German Patch available ? In this month, in this year ?No comment from EAST ?! I?m not understand this point of view to the german players...........sorry !! We have pay for the game as well as the english people - but we have no support, no patches...........

Under www.warfleet.net they list the different patches ALL THE TIME but it?s not available.

New termin for german patch release ?

I must agree with Achilles. Seems as if you don?t care ?bout your German customers. The game cost me 40 ?!!!! And I am waiting fpr this patch since many many month.

And one question: Yestersday I saw a Enigma in a store. New Package! New game too?? Did anyone buy the new version? Is it patched or still the original one?

I don?t want to BUY a new version.

Some of you new message posters may not know EAST, from Tesseraction Games, but I can say I flew across the USA from east coast to west coast last March to go to the Enigmacon and meet the staff, and meet East personally, and they have proved beyond a doubt they have great service, and also they are of the highest quality people who keep their word.

There were times when East paid from his own pocket to get deliveries out the door when he needed to.

There was a time when East depended on income from untrustworthy distributors in Europe, which a lawsuit is now in progress to reclaim their money so they can continue Enigma.. but East continued to give his customers the highest form of attention and service..

You just need to observe these forums and compare to any other game company out there with same or similar problems, most other companies would not even come close to the hard work and effort it takes to continue under these circumstances.

I dont BELIEVE that East, or anyone from TAG would ever sell you a patch it gave freely to other countries versions/customers.. You are just a little over-reacting to something most likely just a advertising change in the appearance of the box.. or it could be the untrustworthy distributors still trying to sell his product..

Why dont you possibly take a digital picture in the store of this new box and email it to East? He will answer you.

He has told many of us that now is a very, very busy time, and most of us have supported him long enough to know it is ok that he takes a short break from answering all our questions to continue working and training the new people at his company. (AND we know he is almost done with the german patch, but, there have been some delays).

Have faith, many of us know him from meeting him, and we believe everything will be ok.

p.s. many of us have also completed all the campaigns and are waiting for multiplayer too. Look at the bright side, you will be playing for the first time while we are still waiting, and the old timers are not complaining.

The German Patch is schduled for Nov 1st 2004 along with Enigma Gold and patches for the other languages of the current Enigma (4 languages).

The release you found in the store that has a different boxcover from your GMX version, is from the new European publisher PointSoft, but it is also currently unpatched.

The reason why the German|French|Polish|Spanish patch is severly delayed is cause the guys that was gonna translate it took well over what could have been expected, and when it was finally released a few months back, there were some bugs in it that TAG had overlooked, those are being fixed along with patches to bring the current E:RT Single Player version up to date with E:RT Gold and also keep in mind that TAG has recently replaced a good handfull of employees so those has to be trained aswell.

Finally remember that no developer is obligated to release patches for their products, its a free service.

Some developers dont even bother, some makes them as addons which you have to purchase for your hard earned money.

TAG releases patches and updates for FREE, so you cant really complain.

As Maxim said.. They dont just release patches for some versions, and dont give a damm about the rest, but things takes time, and I can fully understand that TAG has to prioritize their "todo" list to meet with the current finanses.

I?m very disapointed about the patch problems with the german version.

I waited month for this patch to buy the game, but it?s only delayed once more. People who buy the game paying the people working at TAG, remind this.

I run a software store myself and after this long time of waiting i stopped selling enigma in my store a few weeks ago. In my opinion no one shut sale games which have such a "great" support, cause customers spend there hard worked money for it.
