Wow, what a difference voice command makes in this game! I finally got mine working.............or rather, I guess it was already working. My mic test fails every time in preferences, but when I finally tried to use it anyway in the game, it worked perfectly.

My wife and kids look at me strange, yelling orders at the computer and all, but it's really great! This makes ERT that much more special! Outstanding work! Thanks guys! buxton:

One thing, how can you use this and communicate with others online at the same time when we get into multi? How about a key command to interrupt the orders to the ship and send a message to others over the "radio"?

Its planned to be "push to talk".

yes the voice command adds that special touch to the game.

Hmm, you make a really good point with the voice commands.....never thought about how it could effect the communications with a program like Teamspeak.

The most impressive results I got were when I answered a phonecall and forgot to turn off the microphone ;)

with the patch you can press "V" to toggle the voice command on and off...

I had a coward for a hemlsman one night! I'm trying to track down the last sub, leaning forward staring at the tac screen when I finally get his blip. "There he is..." I say softly to myself, and the helmman throws the engines in full reverse and starts banging the rudder from hard port to hard starboard back and forth faster than you can follow! hehe:
