Raiko/arete?

Yes, I'm absolutely enamored with this gorgeous vessel, and I've heard (read) tell that it's an Italian, Arete-class vessel. The good 'ol web has turned up nothing about any Italian warship called Arete. I'd like to learn more about it if it is a real ship. Thanks all...
