Enigma: Rising Tide Fiction Contest Winners (PC)
Tesseraction awards Wesley Dean first place for his story, Exiles Cross.
Tesseraction has announce the winners of it's Enigma: Rising Tide Fan Fiction Contest. The contest challenged players to create stories based on the alternate history of the world of Enigma: Rising Tide and entries were judged by a panel of professional authors. After sifting through all the entries, Tesseraction chose the following submissions:
1st place: Wesley Dean for "Exiles Cross"
2nd place: Jay Lake for "An Evening at the Hotel da Volta"
3rd place: Haiman Meyerhoff for "A Lion Among Wolves"
Honorable mentions went to: Grant Madden for "The Watcher" and Joe Curley for "The Voyage of U-41 T"
Winners will be awarded cash prizes of $500, 250, and 100 dollars respectively. In addition, excerpts of the winning stories will be posted at www.warfleet.net, with print publication slated for later this year.
