FX6800 / 6800Ultra
New cards that goes retail in about 45 days.
The new GF that blows the fricken doors off all the other cards.
The heatsink is bigger than my cpu cooler.
It takes up 3 expansions slots and uses 2 power connectors, it requires a minimum of 480watts power supply and uses 110watts when its idle.
The card comes with 256MB RAM with an option to add another 256 MB.
Retail price $500

Looks like a nice card, and almost as expensive as my computer itself!
Won't be needing anything like that for a few years, my current Nvidia card will suit me just fine for a while.

Why u need that kind of card for? Present GF4 is powerfull enough to tackle nowadays game....P4 2Ghz, 512MB DDR Ram and GF4 is enough.....
u might need this card if Half-Life 2, Doom 3 is out....

And now for the REAL question: Can they find people who can program drivers that utilize all of it's features efficiently.

Can developer make a game that fully utilize all of it's features efficiently......
I dont think so unless games like Half- Life and Doom 3..........
Or maybe they should use it for upcoming next gen Console like Ps3 and Xbox2........
Anyway, have u guys heard of "Digital Extremes" or "Dark Sector"...
