I don't see what the big deal is with the H.M.S Hood, espeically in this game.
The Hood was a horrible battleship. Sure, she was top of the line for the year she was built (1920) but by the time WW2 rolled around she was flat out obsolete. In her fight with the Bismrack she was sunk in 2 salvos.
She was only the British flagship because they had nothing bigger to replace her with. A fine ship for her age, but a disapointment for the standards of WW2.
So what's the big deal?

I think it's because she is the biggest ship in the game currently. Chapter 2 will see some fearsome ships...The Bismarck and Tirpitz for example...perhaps a famous Japanese ship or two....
