r00kie Hi there
You would have a PDF manual with all in it in your dir m8.
However
1. Not sure I just shoot the bad guys time of days not a factor for me sorry, but if you look outside the sun may be coming up or down or dark etc.
2. Not relevent as the game starts you just outside (as a rule) of combat
3. Bring up your BTac ( large window with radar in it ) its on the left had side.
4. You can track them on the BTac.
5. No such thing good buddy, its a war out there and it stops for nothing! Kill em all and move on.
Sorry for the slack replys but other guys in here knows heaps more than me and will update my lill thread.
Cheers

time of day
Doesnt matter in campaign mode, do what they tell ya.
no time compression, adds to realism of game{ also use voicecommands, world of differance.}
distance is in btac, but really you need to learn to shoot from the hip, as you cant spend all of your time staring at the giant radar screen.
cant track torps, gotta learn to dodge { use spectator comman, or f5 key} or run for your life.
game saves automatically when you complete each mission in campaign mode.
thems the breaks, any problems please come on back, we all love to help each other out here
have a great day!!!

3 - RADAR : It's NOT RADAR. If you expect it to act like radar you will get confused and be dissapointed in it's performance. It is a tactical display that collates all of the information from your crew: Visual sitings, hydrophone detection, asdic detection, etc.

dir= Directory
m8= l33t speak for friend, "mate" short for shipmate.
He's just saying that you should have an electronic version of the manual in one of the folders you installed the game in if you didn't already have a printed version of the manual.
