my btac is all ov a sudden not updateing anymore. sub mission 1, im approaching the oiler and the 2 corvettes, they are way off, and all of a sudden about 20 cans plop down on me. i hit f5 and a corvette is directly above me, while my btac shows him 200 meters off???

WTF????

yeah cause the screen doesnt update on a few occassions like:

depth charge drops

moving too fast

being too deep

simply cause your sonar operator cant hear anything on these events

ok, i just yelled out DIVE DIVE DIVE to avoid some DCs being dropped on my head in my very best "i only speak english and i know im pronouncing it exactly perfect"... and my damn sub blew ballast and rose right up into the cans.

WTF??? hahahahahahaha

sound like you need to train the speech profile.

Start->Settings->Control Panel->Speech->Train Profile

Complete atleast 2 sessions.

At shallow depths ( less than about 30 ) , when you say Dive ,or hit the Dive button , it will surface !

Some depth charges might be from the planes .

You seem to be in shallow water if you can see the hulls of the corvettes when in spectator ( F5 ).

Probably it doesn't update so well if you are travelling at flank speed .

The corvettes should not be suddenly above you tho ' Unless they are heading at speed directly towards you , and you towards them .

Try again.

Not happened to me yet, and I'm at Periscope depth or shallower 90% of the time. hmmm:

I have the Aus patch...wonder if that has something to do with it?

now THAT, is funny! HAHAHAHA

ill run thru the speach trainer and see if that helps. i also suspect that having my speakers on made the problem worse, and when i switched to headphone, it cleared up somewhat.
