hey all iv just registered and was thinking can you play via Direct-ip??

No, the game was designed for Massive Multiplayer. The code would have to be rewritten and they would much rather concentrate their efforts on Mass Multiplayer.

ah i see but will there every be a patch to make it direct because i no sume people that would like to play it on direct-ip, one more thing do u have to pay-2-play online? like monthly?

1. I am pretty sure there East has said there is not going to be direct IP play. That is how a lot of games get hacked/cheated/ into unplayabilty.
2. Yes there will be a monthly fee for MMP as far as I know.

That's why there is singleplayer - buy it one time and play as much as you like. We are a small studio and a subscription model is the only way we can afford to deliver the type of content we intend to deliver.
Doesn't please everyone but heh, you do what you can do.
