You have to complete either the IGN or LFN campaign, surface or sub doesnt matter, to unlock either BB. The USA doesnt have a BB yet..

There's a saved-game cheat file at the bottom of this thread. You can use it to make the battleships instantly available to you, if you want.

I've had the game about a week and enjoying it.

I would buy an expansion pack of larger ships in a heartbeat if it came with a mission editor that allowed me to set up any sorts of outlandish scenarios I wanted with any combination of ships (limited by the power of my computer).

I undertsand why cruisers and battleships, etc. are not a good fit in the gameplay but no matter. I'd play with my impossible Jutland style scenarios anyway because it's what i've spent decades daydreaming about.

I unlocked the Hood, set myself on invulnerable, waded into a convoy and sank 44 ships. It was fun but I imagine it must be boring being god.

A mission editor has already been created and is free to download. Search these forums, and also be on the lookout for a future single player competition using custom missions..

or what about the heavy criusers, they were fast and agilen but easy to sink, that is what people think of battleships, a us class marine battleship has four hulls that fit inside each other ans it has a pump to pump water out of the hull if it is punctured, battleships are also equipped with torpedo tubes on each side, but battleships were very susceptible to airbourne attack and werent very manuverable, so battleships are mainly good for destroying carrier groups desrons or other ship concentrations
