ok staying on track. Since USHA and BSS not going to be in the SNL 2 squad event this time. So that leaves only Warship, TS, FD, and GE/RB squad ? Getting all those subs to fly with only a hand full of squads flying in this event, I see a mess going to happen. I may not have a college degree and as smart as some of you are, but that's like trying to pack 20 people into a volkswagen.

thanks,

Nitro

Ok check it out.

This thread was started as a sign up for SNL.

Not a thread on what do you think? or who dont you like?

a simple yes we are in would do, It wasnt a question of why your squad isn't in.

My only question was about the time.

1 pm for me is 9 pm for UK this would work for all.

So as to stay with the intended thread,, BBC is IN.

I have talked to my squad we have 6 that will show up, and hopfully more.

Any pilot that would like to join us is welcome.

Noodles,

This quote is 100% correct, and 100% wrong.
If i remember the SNL ran by USAAC last year was a shambles. Why we won't let you host it again. Was run inefficiently. After the first rounds, no one knew what was going on. Took several weeks to get the final fixtures to happen.
You remember correctly.. but you don't know the rest of the story .. or left it out.

It was a shambles, and you imply, that the USAAC is responsible for that and you are in serious error.

USAAC was not responsible for the problems at that time ..it was clearly the fault of the organizers. USAAC was simply the host of the event. The President and Director of the USAAC at that time.... was the Organizer and appointed all the staff members. Sal was in full control of the SNL hosted by the USAAC. The current USAAC Staff other than myself is totally different people. Warships Squad was even represented in total by VOTE by Sal as President Director of the USAAC.

I could be in error, however as I recall .. that is the facts.

As I recall:

The reason the SNL was being hosted by the USAAC was that Sal did not have time for it.. nor anyone on his immediate resource team. As I recall Sal did the best thing he could at the time, he used his position and resorces as Director of the USAAC positivly. Sals appointed SNL League Manager was unable to respond, this person was not the USAAC League Manager at that immediate time. Repeated efforts to contact Sal and get information, rulings, result table, etc .. were difficult. I think Sal had connection problems and a heavy work load.. and other RL things on his mind.

Things happen, but your reasoning for excluding the USAAC are weak I feel.. especially in the light of the fact that personnel from last year .. are doing it this year. There were difficulties, but pointing the finger at the USAAC for that is not right.

I might just mention the USAAC has excellent Staff members .. very capable, fair and honest people.

ALSO and unrelated:

I have NO issues with any pilot.

Noodle, other comments you have made are in error also (IMHO)

I got no beef with you .. but I'll speak my mind any time I feel.

There is evidence about and in print. I have not told the BSS members they cannot participate .. in whole or part. My OPINION is that my squad does NOT participate in any league event that is not sponsored by one of the three communities. So what is the big deal any way over one person opinion and advise to his team mates? BSS CO made his decision primary on team member responses.

I have time for discussions, thats all, I have no time just to argue.

If only there was a game we could all play, a game we all loved.... then we would all get along and not get offended at posts that were not meant to offend....

Come on fellas, take a step back, take a deep breath, and realize that WE ARE ALL ON THE SAME SIDE.

It seems, Temper, that too many of our community are beyond redemption. They are not happy unless they are flaming something or someone. It is the easiest way to make a name for oneself. Thoughtfulness and considerateness take too much time and effort. It is so much easier to write crudely and vulgarly about those you think you disagree with.

Pleas for restraint are ignored because it is too much fun to criticize and destroy. Perhaps it is an extension of air attack itself?.seek and destroy. Maybe the violence of the game is carried over into our forums. Whatever the reason it is obvious that the destructive and critical posts receive much more attention than the positive constructive ones. Just look at the numbers of replies and views on the various topics and you will see confirmation of this.

This particular topic is a perfect example of our inhumanity. What started out as a well meaning attempt to sponsor a fun event became an excuse for folks to blast everyone they have a grievance with. For crying out loud people?.step back and look at what you have done. How on earth do you expect people to help administer this game and offer their services for free if you are going to treat them in this way.

Any effort to make the game more interesting and exciting should be welcomed.

I think Tornado's point is that all this disagreement makes the game more interesting and should be welcomed. If so it must be some sort of male bonding thing that I'm not party to. Have fun guys..I guess I don't have to read it if it bothers me Image

The matter is serious discussion. I'll bet Tornado was just trying to lighten things up. But, strictly by what he posted .. its seems he's mocking us or the topic ... that I don't care for. If you can't add something positive to the discussion .. just read and keep out. I would rather think he was simply trying to lighten things up. This is my hope.

(OFf Topic: @ Xena - I really like the way you look at something and your style/manner of response. )
