Tides of War

I know that this is only a test run of the league but I want to run it just like the rules state. So teams are comprised of squad members only. If you or anyone have a problem with this then let me know, for this is how the league will be run.

But, lol.. I made the post for you and and we discussed this matter previously a while back.. We discussed that a team did NOT have to be comprised all from one Squad for the TEST because some squads may not have enough to field and we don't want the test to fail just because there are not enough squad members at one given match time.

Your the boss.. and if you feel so inclined to make it so that only members of a squad can participate emulating a real situation.. so be it I stand by what you decide. I caution that it could cause us at game time to change the 'rule' on the fly

Well when it is time to roll out the international LTS lemme know. By then USHA will have conquered all the US squads leaving only GE and UK squads to play with !

Stick to the topic here, if you want to 'debate' me etc.. please open a topic in the main forums and I'll be happy to debate so long as it is within the tolerances of the BoD. Please, not this thread.

Item 1, US squads only---this is a test.,we have tried this in a few different formats.

we want to make sure we have it ironed out before we go international.

Item 2 squad members only....We did talk about open to other players.

a misunderstanding.....these things do happen.

First of all Tbar, It was YOUR post that I responded to, not Sky's.

Second, I would venture to guess that most everyone would read it exactly as I did. Not that only the "testing" tournament was limited to us squads only. It could have been worded a bit better to let all know that for the final testing, you are only using US sqds to work out all the kinks. Once the USCAA is ready to implement the real league, any and all sqds are welcome to participate.

Third, Sky and I met in a match while he was reffing and chatted about this thread.

The long awaited LTS Tournament will begin on Saturday April 5, 2008. This tournament will be for the US squads only and is the final stage of testing for the eventual LTS League. USAAC would like to thank all squads for their participation and hope everyone will enjoy the competition.

Guess I am the only one beside Noodles who misread it. Or the only one who responded who cares to make sure no one feels left out. Sorry for trying to unite and include everyone.

Finally to Pop:

I do not speak for TKFM unless I disclose that fact in my posts. Sarcasm has its place and I love to use it when felt it is welcomed. If you read my post, Pop, you would see that I also think that the scheduled times for the tourney is not good for most. Again, just my opinion. Maybe no one else that flies has anything else to do on Saturday afternoons/evenings.

I wish you all the best and think I will stay on the other 2 communities where I do not get beat up on for voicing my concerns or comments or opinions. Who needs to apologize?
