Southern English!

Some seem to forget the simple things about the English language,

For example: Ya'll and All ya'll.

Ya'll = everyone

All Ya'll = .................well, ...........everyone.

see................simple!

Oh, and this can be used in past, present, or future tense

For Example:

Past: Ya'll done been to the Wal-marts, yesterday.

Present: Hey ya'll! We's at the Wal-marts!

Future: If'n you kids don't settle down back there, ya'll ain't going to the Wal-marts anytime to soon!

I was never too interested in English grammar. They didnt teach why or how the language worked when I was taught, and I am sure that how they still teach it unless you major in it. I was just told that sometimes this does this and that does that and you accept it for a reason. Sometimes you don't need to know how or why things work, just accept that they do. I found some info on the Internet as I am sure you have looked as well HERE. Seems it has to do with the root of the word and its origins.

Ah, I haven?t thought, I?d find an article about irregular verbs on Wikipedia. Very helpful link, thx Sandman.

Interesting to read, that the english - and german language are somehow related to each other or at least having the same roots. I didn?t know.

@Ho: ?All Ya?ll? isn?t a verb at all, so isn?t ?Aloha?. But I bet you know already.
