They are all good movies, I enjoy movies that have anything to do with subs or war.

By far the funniest sub movie I have seen is UP PERISCOPE.

I'm a newbie to the board and the game. Still learning a lot and searching the board for tips and hints...the manual doesn't help a lot! Anyway my favorite sub/navy movies are:

How many of you have seen - In Harm's Way ?

Is in harm's way that one with the 2 subs that crash into each other and then one has to open its missle hatches to vent heat?

Picked up Das Boot for 20 bucks at my local video store a couple of months ago. I had been searching for it on DVD for a while sort of now and then didn't expect to find it so it was a nice suprise. Great movie, great action, only problem was the english version voice over,not good,some strange high pitch type voices in there!

Toho (The Godzilla people) has a new film called Lorelei about a Japanese sub on a desperate mission to stop a third H-Bomb drop.
