Be serious, Mr Hutton.

In case you are puzzled at my request, it's because I've had a novel idea. It's sort of "The Hunt for Red October" meets "Terminator" meets "The Battle of The River Plate".

I was being serious HMS Victory is still a commissioned ship in Her Majesties Royal Navy and she is classfied as a first rate ship of the line, and she was still afloat during WW1 and took damage from enemy action during WW2 also was used during WW2 for training. Plus all you asked was what ww1/ww2 ships are available that you can visit and walk around.

All right.

Synopisis (at present):

2039. A revolutionary computer system (a true AI) is installed on the USS Donald Rumsfield. All prelim. tests run smoothly. Then something goes wrong. The AI revolts, clearing the ship of crew, and overwiting code on the pseudo-AI systems of the taskforce overlooking its' sea trials, "absorbing" those ships into itself.

Understandably, the USN is not pleased, and sends more ships to contain the situation. They get taken over, too. So does every major surface vessel in all the big navies (RN, JMDSF, etc.). Then, a stroke of good fortune. The Multi Role combat Ship of the RNZN is unaffected. Experts swarm to the main RNZN base in Devonport, Auckland to figure out why. They discover it's because the RNZN couldn't afford AI systems. This gives the high-IQ boys an idea...

HMS Victory is indeed in Commision i live 600 yards from her .... and there is a Sub you can walk on at the Gosport Sub Museam 'HMS Alliance'.

Also HMS Warrior in Portsmouth Harbour although its just the Warrior now of course ... the first iron clad warship in the world.

;)
