I play BFV as well, when I get the time. You can find me as "IronDuke" or "VF-41: Aces, Baby!"

Generally speaking.. we don't talk about other games on the Enigma Forums .. nor do we do a lot of advertising about Tides of War.

However, since things are a little bit slow right now on Enigma:Rising Tides, Lan play , MP, etc .. I'll venture some information here and hope the BOSS does not yell at me.

Tides of War has several free game servers we offer to our members. In so much as Enigma Forums are hosted at Tides of War, we consider all you registered Enigma Forums folks as part of the Tides Community .. ie we consider you a family member.

Tides has the following servers currently running 24/7 and open to you:

Call of Duty UO

Battle Field 1942

Halo

Il2 Pacific Fighters Stand Alone ( For PF only with no other version of IL2 installed)

IL2 pacific Fighters Merged (For those that have the other versions installed also)

We also host a ticked based space game called Warfleet (currently undergoing spring cleaning and will re-open about June 1)

We also have a 'quick' play' naval Warfare game based on the orignal IRON WOLVES submarine multi-play game due to open up this summer sometime for beta). This software will be hosted by Tides., and is massive multi-play.

We will also be putting up a pair of Enigma:Rising Tides games when the LAN software is out so you have a constant presence 24/7.

If you hae a SH3 group, we can also put up a SH3 server.

Tides and ConnectVoice have TS servers running with IP and connection information should you wish to use our servers.

We just opened many of these serves so there are not a lot of players on them at all times .. we would love for you to populate our servers and play with your Enigma Buddies .. who knows .. you might just run into other Enigma fans keeping busy :)

If you have an Active Task Force, Battle Group, Clan, Club, etc that participates in these on-line type of games and you don't have a 'home port" you might want to contact Tides Staff and see what might be available to you.

The fee's are very small , if any at all .. most of our services are free to members. Most of what we have is community supported thru donations and sponsors. (HINT: see that donte button .. .. LOL)

Further information can be found on the Tides of War main Forums.

Actually, the Battlefield 1942 Forgotten Hope Mod is actually really good. Than again, for being a gig and a half large mod, it better be! While it might not be as good as Vietnam, it comes very close. Besides, it has a helluva lot of great maps, and the sounds are worlds apart from the defualt 1942.

Been a fan of BF1942 since it's release, and the old Nvidia 65 man servers.

What a blast back then. I still play every now and then, the Forgotten Hope, Battlegroup42, and the Desert Comabt extended mods really have kept the game alive for me.

Battlefield 2 ships june 21, really looking forward to that and the WWII mods that will be ported over to it. :P

I've been playing nothing but Forgotten Hope since I installed that mod. The lads are working on the final release, then will do a BF2 mod using the newer engine.
