Makes me wonder if you have one of the illegally-produced copies GMX was selling and not reporting, to screw TAG out of their rightful money... huh:

Why can't they just give you it free and bombard you with ads, like all the other games? And how much will a multiplayer subscription cost after 30 days?

Hahahahah. You wish.

It'll probably cost less than $20 a month but more than $10 a month. But it'll be worth every penny. Image

On the Auran Australian Release (on the lower centre of the back of the box) it says:
FREE WHEN YOU REGISTER
Recieve a free 30-day subscription to the

upcoming massively multiplayer online

version of ENIGMA: RISING TIDE.
so don't whine about it, just sit back, enjoy the SP game and await the MMO version enigma!:

First off, I dont whine. I asked very legitimate questions. I bought a copy of this game for 40 bucks with the Thinking i would have a couple months of gameplay via multi-player...Instead, I had 2 or 3 days of play in single player mode. huh: Nowhere on my box does it say you have to "Pay-to-play" to get Multi-player or I would have NOT spent the money on it.

I would not have even known about the "Pay-to-play" Multi-player If i didn't stumble across it here and read it. Its not that its gonna be "Pay-to-play" , Its the fact that you find out after you already spent the money. It's a cool game, no beef there...(very fun)..but as I said before, It will go into the drawer and collect dust. >;(

Sorry, it just seemed like your whining (the continual posting about it being pay-to-play) huh: (It is kinda hard to get the right tone across when not face to face)

oh and the "massively multiplayer online" part says it all.

If it says MMO, u have to pay, simple as that.

even if you don't get the MMO version, hopefully TAG will make a LAN version availiable for some good ol' fashioned combat fraggin' with friends :D

not to mention you still get the updates (new ships etc) even without paying the fee

it caters to all, the MMO ppl and the SP ppl and the LAN ppl (hopefully :D)

its a great way to make the most of the game

hats off to TAG for a great game and great marketing  enigma!:

There will be a way to create your own missions too. That should keep the SP game fun for quite a while. ;)

ive been reading these forums now for a couple months. i dont see how people are being talked to like their wrong for talking how messed up it is not having multiplayer. when i bought this game a year ago it said multiplayer not single player and later multiplayer. people arent whining the are upset that they bought a game that miss lead them. so if you think that ilegal have been sold then put up a list where they where sold, mine is a us version. now can anyone tell me why their are stories of two head people playing over a network in the forums but i cant play?

dont get me wrong its a good game just not one that lived up to is promises

if there are any stories on here about any multiplayer action then its what happened at Enigmacon, which is where the MP preview was shown!
