You are correct, it is Bearn. It was decommissioned and we have it re-constituted for Portugals use in protecting the Azores.

Yes, we are heavily arming the carriers. We are also creating the planned but never created BattleCarriers. Starting with the conversion of the Bismark and the Tirpitz.

IMHO(I think the term is), the Tirpitz looks a hell of a lot more dangerous than the Bismarck, but, er, why does she have a central island? THAT would be bloody dangerous for night ops. angel2:

Give me the Bismark - think broadsides and gun elevation. Mind you, pivot turning the Bismark to get the enemy to starboard could be tricky!

Aye, but Commodore Hardwood could sneak up behind with a few CA's and pummel Bismark, which looks as though its only got a few 6 inchers aft.

Hang on, something isn't right about that Bismark model. I mean the side elevation has the of the flight deck shadow on the starboard side of the hull, but the plan view shows the flight deck on the port side of the ship.

You're right, you can also see it when you look at B-Turret. On the starboard shot the flight deck is clearly in front of B-Turret, but judging from the shot from above the flight deck must be behind B-Turret.

When you look closer you'll also see the secondary guns in front of B-Turret, below the flight deck, but in a starboard shot they shouldn't be visible at all.

Seems to be an inverted shot showing Bismark's port side.

Are Hermes, Courageous, Eagle and Berne for the RNE or god forbid the IGN

With Bismark and the Tirpit would it have been a real problem resetting the magazins and the ammo hoists, and how dose Bismark stear under engens alone :wink: with no Rudder
