What was East driving at the time? A tanker?

it was an american DE.

I had to add that the scnellboot battles were indeed exciting. One time I was in a destroyer, and Argon came up on my stbd side, unbeknownst to me, and opened fire. he managed to sink my ship, but not before I had ordered launch tube, and dropped a fish right onto the deck of his scnellboot.

It was great meeting those guys, Argon, Wehrwolf, and Capt. Maxim. All of them proved to be Gigantic E:RT fans, and I was very happy to begin friendships with them all.

now East.......He certainly is one bad ass ships captain!!

Thanks again Tesseraction!!

Did anyone get to the modding workshops - how easy is it to do, what are the tools like, can we mod skins/camo via templates using PSP or photoshop? Any hints as to when the modding tools will be available ?

See the post labeled Will Skin/camo Templates Be Made Available ? for info on the skin modding. Argon was going to post some coverage on the voice and mission editing I believe, so I left those alone, though I've got notes on them.

I believe East was going to be working on posting pics sometime today. (According to his post at Subsim.) He had a photagrapher there, and I'm hoping the pics turned out good.

As I was running out the door to catch my flight for EnigmaCon, I grabbed my cheap little digital camera not knowing if there would be sufficient light at the destination. It turns out, there wasnt enough light but this picture is the only usable one out of three that I took.

At least it gives you a little idea of the cramped quarters the naval combatants had to survive in.

Here you see the various computers which were supplied by "FRAG NET GAMING" centers of Eugene, Oregon showing the screenshots of Enigma Rising Tide MULTIPLAYER "beta version".

One of the funnier situations arose during play, that if you yelled "ALL STOP" loud enough, your opponents ship/sub would come to a halt due to the fact his microphone might have been right next to yours, and his ship followed your orders... LOL but then again, your ship did too... (so best reccomendation is not to have LAN parties closely packed together when using voice, lol)

For those of you who couldnt make it to EnigmaCon, there were some other displays such as Jason's submarine and destroyer models.. and some large poster size ink prints rendered in Max3D of the actual ship models from the game (which are printed in limited serial numbered versions, Im waiting for mine to be shipped*)

The highlight of course was meeting the actual people behind the development of the game / music / story departments and listening to all their enthusiasm for the future plans for the game!

I just wanted to say thanks to the developers for making everyone feel welcome and showing us an interesting time, looking forward to next time!
