As far as I know, the Germans use masculine terms for ships. I'm not sure about Spanish, but Cap'n Harlock's post would indicated the same.

And I remember the Bismarck's first commander saying that he would prefer everyone to refer to his ship as 'He... for no woman could boast so much power as this ship'.

Each to their own, eh?

Well in french we treat boats like ladys too...

So the BB should turn faster in the game.

Like OMG,, Who the heck needs agility when you have the kind of firepower of

the Hood.

In one patrol mission i had two subs, 4 DE, and several other smaller ships literally

surround me. I cut enginges to all stop and Unloaded.

I took one hell of a beating but after the smoke cleared, I had 60% armor left

and i decimated the entire enemy fleet.

Need I say more?

In regards to Battleships turning rate, I have found some interesting information. The Yamato displaced 65000 tons and had a tactical diameter (turning circle) of 700 yards (2100feet) The HMS Vanguard displaced 44300 tons and had a tactical diameter of 1025 yards (3075 feet) and the USS Wisconsin displaced 57500 tons and had a tactical diameter of 814 yards (2442 feet) as you can see Battleships did not turn as quickly, as smaller vessels due to their large size although the Yamato's rate of 700 yards was considered amazing for such a large vessel. If eventually this great game can be modded we might have some fine realism mods come out which will make this game even more interesting to play.

you didn't play more naval simulator,are you?

I beleive the Russians refer to their ships in the masculine as well.
